Donald E. Costello, 85, a resident of Davenport, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Kahl Home in Davenport. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his death.
Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Costello will be 10 am Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. The family will greet friends Wednesday, September 24, from 4 until 7 pm. at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport. There will be a family led rosary at 6:30 pm that all are encouraged to join the family in prayer.
Those left to honor his memory include children and their spouses, Don (Sue) Costello, Mike (Dianne) Costello, Bill (Wendy) Costello, Beth (Lee) Seeman, Tim (Chris) Costello, Kate (Steve) Wells; as well as his beloved sister, Sr. Marcia Costello, CHM, Davenport.
