She was born on May 10, 1916 in Massena, daughter of Avila and Margaret Latoundroas Guilbault.
She married Michael Lee Montgomery on April 26, 1935 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He died on 4/8/1968.
She was also a foster mother and provided home care for area residents. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and making dolls and quilts.
Surviving were two sons, James (Judy) and David L. (Shirley); three daughters, Mrs. Bennie (Patricia) Strickland; Mrs. Daniel (Gloria) McGuire; and Mrs. Paul (Carolyn) Damon; and a daughter-in-law, Ellen Montgomery; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
A son, Michael Lee, Jr., two brothers, Frederick and William Guilbault, and two sisters, Melvina Dutton and Evelyn Montgomery, died before her.
