By 1850, the family had moved to Alabama, but did not stay long. In 1860, they were in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas.
Sarah married William Lewis Hogan Blackburn June 23, 1861. She was 18 years old. Together, Sara Rebecca and William had two proven children, Nancy Ritte and John W.
William died in 1898, but Sarah Rebecca stayed in Bell county until some time after 1908. Nancy was living in Williamson County and it can be assumed that when Sarah Rebecca was elderly she went to live near her daughter for we find her death record in Williamson County in 1919.
