MILL CREEK, Wash.--Shawnee Robison Rowe, our sweet, sweet, wife, mother, sister, daughter and grandmother, returned home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 22, 1997. After courageously enduring a sudden illness, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and children.
Shawnee enjoyed a life full of love, service and devotion to others and service in the church. She loved the simple things in life. She loved to sing, garden, cook, attend water aerobics and go on long drives with her sweetheart, Kent. But most of all, Mom was happiest when surrounded by her devoted husband and family. She found joy in being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her most precious times were spent teaching and reading to her children and grandchildren. Dad often says, "If anyone knows Shawnee and doesn't like her, there's something wrong with them."
We love her and miss her.
She is survived by her husband, Kent; sons, Shon and Mitchell (Amy); daughters, Jacalyn (Blair) Giles; Jennifer; Marcie; and Stacie; brother, Harlen Robison; sister, Lexie Webster (Robert); her mother, Vera Robison; four grandchildren, Jayci, Cydni, Jacob Giles, and Emily Rowe.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 24, 1997 at 12:30 p.m. at the Everett Stake Center on 19th Avenue, Everett, Wash., prior to the services, family will greet friends from 11 to 12:30 p.m.
Additional services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 1997 at 12:30 p.m. at the Brookhaven Chapel, 190 No. Country Lane (200 N. 1250 E.) Fruit Heights. Prior to the services, family will greet friends from 11 to 12:30
