Pauline Nicely, 94, of Fort Smith, a wonderful mom and grandma, went to be with the lord on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, in Fort Smith. She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Charleston to James Millard King and Lillie Ann Lay King. She was retired from Dixie Cup and was a member of Northside Baptist in Charleston. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Estes Nicely, and son, James Nicely.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Harvest Time Church in Fort Smith with the Rev. Kemp Holden officiating. Service is under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Charleston.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Ruddle of Fort Smith; five granddaughters, Cathy Thompson, Cheryl Clark, Sherri Farley, Terri Brown and Kimberly Martin; 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Taylor, Cody and Ivan Thompson, Todd Hewett, Jim Christian and Roger Cooper.

The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
