Decorah - Services for Gilbert G. Hovden, 80, who died Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Cresco, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Madison Lutheran Church; burial at the church cemetery; Stein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Gordon Scherrard (Olive Mae), of St. Paul, MN, Mrs. George Pappas (Stella) and Mrs. Joe Wenzel (Grace Eunice) of Rochester, MN, Mrs. Lester Anderson (Coral) and Mrs. Sy Thompson (Lois Jean) both of Austin, MN; one son, Robert of Cedar Falls.
