Shirley A. Day, 68, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Shirley Ann (Acker) Mohr Day was born in Edgington Township, daughter of Richard and Alice McDonald Acker. She married Johnnie L. Mohr June 14, 1959, in Edgington. Shirley later married Earl C. Day May 3, 1995, in Muscatine.
She owned and operated Milan License and Title for the last 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Earl; daughter, Linda; son, Richard; stepson, Larry A.; grandchildren, Aspen, Jackson and Dawson; stepgrandchildren, Whitney, Olivia, and Harrison; sisters, Glenna Kelly, Marjorie Wilkens, Lois Burr, Nancy Williams; brothers, Harvey, Gary, Lyle and Dennis Acker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews.
