Salvation Army Worker Dies
An active worker for the Salvation Army, Mrs. Annie Honeychurch, 63, of 215 34th Ave. S.W., died Wednesday in the General hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Pensilva, Cornwall, England, and had lived in the city for 37 years. Her husband, Thomas, died in Calgary in March, 1940.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. T. K. Taggart, Mrs. Hector Habkirk, Florence and Helen of Calgary; Mrs. C. R. Gillingham, Portage la Prairie; six sons, Cpl. Cecil Honeychurch at No. 2 Wireless School at Calgary; Arthur and Leslie, Calgary; Adjt. Herbert, Nanaimo, B.C.; Bandsman Wilfred Honeychurch, overseas with the R.C.E.; A.B. Raymond Honeychurch, R.C.N.V.R., at Esquimalt.
There are also eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. W. Waters, Los Angeles; Mrs. E. Mitchell, Morenci, Ariz.; two brothers, Charles and William Gilbert, in Cornwall, England.
