FFuneral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. lThursday November 6, 2003 from the Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa, Iowa with the Rev. Iola Lee McCutcheon officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday November 5, 2003 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Rural Maquoketa, Iowa.
Perry Lee McCutcheon was born on September 21, 1920 in Ames, Iowa to Frank W. McCutcheon and Florenc L. Caven McCutcheon. He was a 1939 graudate of Delmar High School. He married Florence Iola Ward on December 9, 1945 in Maquoketa, Iowa.
Mr. McCutcheon worked as a mechanic for Warren Langworth In Davenport, Iowa for 30 years. He then worked at Lee Dahl Motors in DeWitt, Iowa for a short time He retired on November 20, 1979.
Mr. McCutcheon was a member of the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in Green Island, Iowa. He enjoyed working on cars and when he no longer was able to do that he devloped a passion for computers. He became a self-taught computer technician.
He is survived by: his wife-Florence McCutcheon of Delmar, IA; a daughter,-Rev. Iola Lee McCutcheon of Miles, IA; 1 brother- Kermit (Darlene) McCutcheon of Lost Nation, IA; 7 2 sisters-Donna (Mrs. Clayton) Sherwood of Fulton, IL 7 Glatha Ales of Pekin, IL. He was preceded indeath by his parents & 2 brothers- Marvin & Kenneth.
