Funeral services for James B. Allbright, retired Frisco Railroad employee, were held from the Valhalla Chapel at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev E.C. Ellis, pastor of the Hayti Methodist Church, officiating. The services were directed by Valhalla of Hayti. Interment was in East Woodlawn Cemetery where the Masonic lodge of Hayti had charge of the graveside service.
Mr. Allbright died Tuesday by the age of 84 years, 10 months and four days.
He was born in Marquand, Mo., February 16, 1865. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the Masonic lodge and his railroad brotherhood.
He worked for a long number of years as a section foreman on the Frisco here, being retired about 12 or 13 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louisa Jane Allbright; one son, Lester James, of McQueen, Tex.; two grandchildren, a great grandson and a large number of friends who mourn his passing.
