Rev. A.R. Huband will conduct services from Gooder Bros. funeral chapel Monday at 2 p.m. for William W. Douglas of Wardner, B.C., who died Thursday in General hospital here. Burial will be in the family plot, Burnsland cemetery.

Mr. Douglas, the son of the late Senator James M. Douglas and Mrs. Douglas of Tantalion, Sask., was born in Uxbridge, Ont. He spent several years in India where his parents were missionaries. He came to Brandon with his parents in 1882 and later settled in Tantalion with them. He moved to Taber in 1902 where for many years he took an active part in the building of the town, serving as mayor for two terms. Since 1915 he had been cattle ranching in the Cranbrook district.

He was predeceased by his wife, Laura J., in 1933, and by his daughter, Mrs. C.C. Mahon of Taber, in 1933.

He is survived by three sons, James E. of Cranbrook, Archie B. of Port Renfrew, B.C. and William R. of Calgary; one daughter, Mrs. J.D. Milne of Calgary; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Markland of Tantalion, and Mrs. A.B. Winchester of Toronto.
