Halestine Cox-Spivey, 80, of Tabor City, died Sunday at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Harrelson of Kennesaw, Ga. and Lana S. Oxendine of Pembroke; two sons, Terry Spivey and Roger Spivey, both of Tabor City; a sister, Mary Spivey of Tabor City; a brother, Darwin Cox of Portsmouth, Va.; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Inman Chapel with the Revs. Russell Long and Tony Oxendine officiating. The burial services will follow at Spivey cemetery.
