Mary Eliza Cox Spivey age 86 died Saturday in her home. Born in Horry County, SC she was the daughter of the late Mayo D. Cox and Lonie Harrelson Cox.
She is survived by Two sons: Wesley Spivey of Ankeny, IA. Mike Spivey of Elloree, SC. One Daughter: Jean Spivey of Tabor City, NC. One Brother: Darwin Cox of Portsmouth, VA. Nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in by her husband James Edward Spivey. One son: Jeff Spivey, One Brother: S.P. Cox. Two Sisters: Halestine Spivey, Florine Spivey.
She was a member of Iron Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Spivey Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
