The death is announced in a military hospital Salisbury of Corporal Jack Galloway, elder son of John Galloway, retired inspector schools, formerly Dumfries and now resident in Aberdeen. Corporal Galloway, who had been engaged in fruit farming in Tasmania along with his younger brother, came to this country with the Tasmanian Contingent. He was years of age. was a nephew of Sir James M Barrie, the novelist.
