Onf February 26, 1896 she was united in marriage to Otis E. Farrington. Two sons and three daughters were born to this union. Mr. Farrington preceded her in death in 1950.
Since 1954, Mrs. Farrington has made her home with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ellison of Rocky Comfort, Missouri. It was there she passed away August 6, 1959, at the age of 82 years, 8 months, and 6 days.
She was a member of the Henderson Christian Church.
She is survived by her sons, Roy of Omaha, Nebraska, Ward E. of Kansas City, Missouri; three daughters, Mrs. Velma Myers of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, Mrs. May Briggs of Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. Waive Ellison of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alfa Thompson of Omaha, Nebraska.
Preceding her in death besides her husband were one sister, three brothers, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Farrington were held at the Raynor Chapel, Sunday, August 9, 1959 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Lee officiating.
Music was furnished by Jerry Duysen and Mrs. Melva Christofferson. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Lyle Boon. Casket bearers were Merle Cox, Richard Ellison, Emory Ellison, Robert Ellison, Wayne Ellison, and Ralph Holmer.
Burial was in the Silver City Cemetery.
