Mr. Robert Peter "R.P." Robinson Jr., 87, of Supply died Saturday September 13, 2014 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick. Mr. Robinson was born in Brunswick County on June 6, 1927 and was the son of the late Robert Peter Robinson Sr. and Lillie Reaves Robinson. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a Chief Boatsman Mate with U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. Mr. Robinson was a member of Pythagoras Lodge #249 A.F. & A.M. of Southport, Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and the Sudan Temple. He was a devoted member and past president of the Brunswick County Shrine Club and past captain of the Thunderbolts. He was a proud member by invitation of the Royal Order of Justers. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Robinson; four sons, Randy Robinson, Rickie Robinson, Robert Robinson, Rocky Robinson, all of Supply; a daughter, Rhonda Hunnicutt of Wilmington; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 16, 2014 at 3pm at Sharon United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites. Pallbearers will be, Toby Fulford, John Perry Robinson, Phil Robinson, T. Virgil Roberts, Ronnie Robinson, Andy Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Brunswick County Shrine Club.
