The death occurred at the residence in Bowden, on April 13, of Joseph Hilts, aged 63 years, loving husband of Mrs. Margaret Hilts. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, Margaret, four daughters, Mrs. Crundwell, of Red Deer; Mrs. Brand, of Calgary; Mrs. Goodman, of Banff; Mrs. McNeil, of Bowden; one son, John, also of Bowden. There are also nine grandchildren.
Mr. Hilts was born in Ballingford, Ont., and was a resident of Calgary for a period of four years, and was in business in this city. He moved to Bowden and was a partner in the firm of McNeil & Hilts, general merchants.
