Mrs. Dora Eldridge, 80, 2808 Centre St. N., died at her residence Thursday, following a long illness. Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mrs. Eldridge resided at Red Deer from 1910 until 1929 when she moved to Calgary, residing here since.
Her husband, Nelson Eldridge, predeceased her in Calgary October 2nd, 1941, and a son, Horace, predeceased her at Atlanta, Georgia, April 5, 1942.
She is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. J.A. Miles of Zillah, Washington; Mrs. Ellen Teachout and Mrs. Cora Teachout, both of Shenandoah, Iowa; Mrs. Anna Kenna, of Scaring, North Dakota; Mrs. Charles Bannister of Highway, Alberta; Mrs. W. Reid, Mrs. C. Wood and Mrs. A.M. Munro, all of Calgary, and 23 grandchildren.
Services will be held at Jacques funeral home Saturday, at 2:45 p.m. Rev. M.L. Breakenbridge will officiate. Interment will follow in the family plot, Burnsland cemetery.
