Mr. Bowen was born in Morrisburg, Ont., and pioneered in electrical engineering there before coming west in 1907. From then until 1916, when he moved to Calgary, he farmed and ranched in various parts of Alberta. He was a member of the United Empire Loyalists.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Matilda; two sons, Morley Lorne and Wilbert Guy, both of Calgary; one daughter, Mrs. B.F. Lundy, Vancouver; one sister, Mrs. J. Barker, in the United States, and 12 grandchildren.
Rev. E. Melville Aitken will conduct funeral services at Park Memorial chapel Wednesday afternoon, at 3:30 o'clock.
