A resident of Calgary for the past 32 years, Charles Henry Doney of 839 Eighteenth avenue west, died yesterday after a long illness. Before retiring six years ago he was a building contractor. He was born at Saint John, N.B.
Surviving are his wife, Edith; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel May Pierce, died in Calgary in 1937, and a son Arthur was killed overseas.
Rev. H.E. Norlund will conduct funeral services at 2 oclock tomorrow afternoon from the Jacques funeral home. Burial will be in the Burnsland cemetery.
