On Tuesday, March 1st, 83 year old Mrs. Maria Harms, nee Thielke, died in the home of her son, Heinrich Harms, of the Town of Theresa. The deceased was born in Ravensburg, Mechlenburg-Schwerin, November 10, 1809, and came as a widow with her children to America in 1866, settling in the Town of Theresa, where she lived until influenza claimed her life. Her husband preceded her in death 41 years ago. The interment occurred March 5th on the Mayville Cemetery, Pastor A. H. Rehn officiating. Peace to her ashes.
