Mrs. Gunderson died Wednesday at the Douglas County hospital at Alexandria, on April 8, 1964, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 8 days. Surviving are her husband, John M.; three sons: Harvey K. and Byron S. of Kensington and Marvin L., of St. James. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two brothers: Lewis Foslien of Alexandria; Theodore Foslien of Garfield; one sister, Mrs. Minda Johnson of Nipawin, Sask., Canada. She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 9, 1964 at 8 p.m. from Anderson Funeral home and Friday, April 190, 1964, 2 p.m. from the Solem Lutheran church, Solem township, Rev. R. Willliam Ingvoldstad officiating. Interment was in Solem Lutheran cemetery, Solem township. Pallbearers were Harold Foslien, Theodore Winkjer, Kenneth Johnson, Joe Skarshaug, Raymond Johnson and Norman Foslien.
