Death of C. A. Berthold
C. A. Berthold, for 50 years a resident of Pettis county, died 10 miles southeast of Sedalia this afternoon, aged 78 years. He was born in New York city and came to Pettis county in 1858. Besides his wife, who is now very ill with pneumonia, he leaves 12 children:
