Walter T. Zeigler, 51, died early this morning in Emory Hospital in Atlanta after an illness of several weeks. He had lived in South Georgia all of his life and was a barber here many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Zeigler is survived by his wife, the former Miss Blanche Kirkland; one son, Tommy Zeigler, his mother, Mrs. Jim Royal, Lakeland; and four brothers, C.A. Zeigler, Soperton; Mitchell Zeigler, John Zeigler, both of Valdosta; W.J. Zeigler, Orlando, Fla. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Walter Zeigler who died in Atlanta Saturday morning were held yesterday at 4 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. John R. Smith and the Rev. Frank King officiating. James Dasher, Alva Willaford, Mrs. C.C. Clark and Mrs. H.W. Rhodes sang Beyond The Sunset and Amazing Grace. Honorary pallbearers were Comer Cherry, D.D. Burgess, Harmon Williams, Jack Cowart and J.B. Cook. Active pallbearers were John Gray, E.A. Nash, Thomas L. Stubbs, W.F. Lewis, John Bolen and Floyd Jordan. Burial was in the Cat Creek cemetery.
