MINNIE WEBBER MCCREA
Minnie Webber McCrea, daughter of John and Mary Webber, was born near Galesburg, Ill., March 5, 1878, and passed away in Holdredge, Nebr., March 29, 1954 at the age of 76 years and 24 days.
When she was one year old she came with her parents to Fremont, Iowa and there she grew to womanhood.
On June 10, 1896 she was united in marriage to Ulysses Grant McCrea. To this union five children were born: Cecile, Leslie, Ferrell, Virgil and Ava.
She became a member of the Christian church and remained a member of the church until the time of her death.
Two children and her husband have preceded her in death. Ferrel passed away Dec. 23, 1920 at the age of 17 years, her husband in 1925 and Cecile, Mrs. Marzo Penwell in May, 1950.
She is survived by her sons, Leslie of St. Joseph, Mo., Virgil of Holdredge, one daughter, Mrs. Ava Knapich of Lynwood, Calif., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Holdredge, Nebr., and Lacona. Interment was in the Newbern cemetery. The Rev. Mrs. Clayton P. Shepard conducted at the Lacona service.
