Elma J. (Siefkas) Wilson, 86, of Des Moines passed away peacefully on September 10, 2014 at Parkridge Specialty Care in Pleasant Hill. She was born on March 16, 1928 in Murray, Iowa to Carl and Maxine (Zink) Siefkas.
Elma is survived by her children, Judy (Roger) Ritchhart, Roger (Tammy) Brand, Donald (Marcy) Brand, Wanda (Roger) Hardy and Scott Brand; step-children, Donna (Larry) Jones and Judy (Richard) Williams; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Marilyn) Siefkas; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Siefkas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; daughter at birth, Kathleen; granddaughter, Mindy; and brothers, Richard, Bud and Boyd.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Parkridge Specialty Care and Care Initiatives Hospice for their loving care of Elma.
