Linda Kay Woodruff, of Irving, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011. She was born on December 21, 1944 to William Ben Pennington and Emma Nelcean Trent-Pennington in Deport, TX and raised in Clarksville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, David Ray Pennington. Linda is survived by her husband, Raymond Woodruff; daughter, Tammy Woodruff; son, Todd Woodruff; brothers, James Darrell Pennington and Benny Ray Pennington; several nephews; her cherished dog, Sam and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Grace Pointe Church, 208 S. Story Road, Irving, 75060. Pastors Patrick Wooten and Gary Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
