Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for Eveline (Evelyn) C. Patton, age 93, of Sauk Rapids, who died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church in Sauk Rapids. Sacred Heart Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.

Survivors include her children, Elaine Ayer of Sauk Rapids and Jerry (Mary) Patton of Sauk Rapids; sisters, Wilhelmina (Floyd) Butler of Dayton, Regina Lahr of Sartell, Helen (Harvey) Kruchten of St. Cloud, Virginia (Vern) Lahr of St. Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren on July 25, 1998; son in law, Rick Ayer; sisters, Hilda Prokasch, Lorraine Bielejeski, Margaret Heinen, Rita Fortier; brothers, William, Reinhart, Herman, and Richard; and infant brother, Jo.

Evelyn was born May 13, 1914 in Pierz to Herman & Ann (Meyer) Faust. She married Loren F. Patton on November 30, 1939 in Willmar. She has lived most of her married life in Sauk Rapids. Evelyn was a homemaker, and worked at the St. Cloud Hospital, and for Armor Processing Plant in St. Cloud. She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids.
