Ms. Helen Northcutt age 88 of Payne's Cove went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2012 at Manchester Medical Center. She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on March 15, 1924 to Felix and Anna Mae Garner. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Northcutt, brothers; Ralph and Bud Garner, sisters; Mary Ann Long, and Lessie Prince. Survivors include sisters Jean Oliver of Akron, Ohio; and Florence Chapman of Murfreesboro, TN. 3 sons Steve Northcutt, James (Jimmy) Northcutt, and Bobby Northcutt all of Pelham, TN. 2 daughters Joyce Walker of Tullahoma, TN and Connie Meeks of Hillsboro, TN. 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Ms. Northcutt was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church in Payne's Cove.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Mike Rigsby and Reverend Ronnie Trussell officiating. Burial will be at Oliver Cemetery in Payne's Cove. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
