She was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Nora Jones Stitt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray Lane, in 1991, and by three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. Saturday,October 23, 1999 at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel.

Interment followed at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
