Ralph was a son of the late Thomas William and Nora Jones Stitt.
He had lived a number of years in Elizabethton. Mr. Stitt was a retired carpenter.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Fay Stitt, March 28, 2003; by four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services was conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services and interment was held at noon Saturday, April 5, 2003 in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
