POWELL, LEONARD R. "BUD", JR. passed away on April 11, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was a truck driver and retired from House Hasson Hardware. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard R. Sr. and Mable Powell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Judy; children, Lisa Smith and Mark Powell; grandchildren, Sheena and Megan Smith, Jonathan, Jared, Joseph, Rachel, and Riley Powell; great grandson, Chase Wright; sister, Sherry Jo DeForest; one niece; and three nephews; "special relatives", Roland and Kathy Smith.
The family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bantley Baptist Church Cemetery, 670 Bantley Road, Clinton, TN 37716. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 1893 Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
