ANDERSON - Roy A. Anderson, 65, 531 W. 7th St., Pecatonica, died at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1974, in Rockford Memorial Hospital from injuries received in a farm accident Sept. 26, 1974. Born Aug. 2, 1909, in rural Pecatonica, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Anderson. Lived lifetime in Pecatonica area. Married to the former Nora Ihne in German Valley Aug. 10, 1932. Employed by Twin Disc Co., Rockford, for 20 years before retiring. Previously employed by J.I. Case, Rockford, and self-employed as a farmer. He was confirmed in First Lutheran Church, Pecatonica. Member of Pecatonica Lions Club and was club secretary. Graduated from Pecatonica High School.

Survivors include: his widow, Nora; a son, Robert Marion, Iowa; three grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd and Faye, both of Pecatonica, and Warren, Rockford; three sisters, Mrs. Glenwood (Gladys) Eckburg, Mrs. Delbert (Ruth) Seyler, and Mrs. Donald (Doris) Whitney, all of Pecatonica; and several nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death.

Services at 1:30 p.m. Friday in First Methodist Church, Pecatonica, with Rev. Bruce Gideon, pastor, and Rev. Arthur Goetz, pastor of First Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Pecatonica Cemetery. Arrangements by Kenneth L. Countryman Funeral Home, 529 Washington St., Pecatonica. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
