On May 19, 1967, Johnny married Norma Beaver at First Christian Church in Lubbock, Texas.
Johnny served in the U S Navy for four years.
He also served as a member of the Lubbock Fire Department for twenty-seven years.
Leaves to mourn his wife, Norma Daniel;
Father of:, Gavin John Daniel and wife Dana, and
Ginger Renee Daniel and partner Caitlin;
Three granddaughters, Hayley, Samantha, and Alex Daniel;
Two brothers,
Bruce Daniel and wife Laura, and
Robert Daniel and wife Irma;
Sister, Beth McGowan and husband George; and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 69 years on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at 6 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers followed by a reception.
