Margaret Ellen Robinson was born January 2, 1920 to Lee G. and Inez Robinson in Springfield, Illinois. Margaret went home to be with her Lord on September 4, 2014.

While attending Illinois State Normal University, her roommate introduced Margaret to her brother, Merle A. Peltz. Margaret and Merle were later married on March 21, 1942. They owned and lived on a farm in Carlock, Illinois until their retirement. They became “snow birds” for several years spending part of their year in Illinois and wintering in Texas. They eventually made Texas their permanent residence.

She was a member of South Shore Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star a Freemasonry-related fraternal organization. At South Shore, she was a member of the prayer team.

She is survived by nieces: Jane Clark (Ronald) of Millsboro, Delaware; Joy Reed (Michael) of Roseville, California; Dawn Lamprecht of Collinsville, Illinois; Mary Joy Springer of Collinsville, Illinois and a nephew, Marion (‘Doc’) Springer (Janice) of Dover, Florida.
