Edmund F. Carpenter of Downingtown Edmund F. Carpenter, 34, died Aug. 26, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Lauren (Carr) Carpenter and two children, Joshua and Julia Carpenter. He is also survived by his parents, Everett and Laura Carpenter; three sisters; two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9th, in Hopewell United Methodist Church, 852 Hopewell Rd., Downingtown. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his memory to the Carpenter Children Benefit Fund, C/O Fulton Bank, 1267 Horseshoe Pike, Downingtown, PA. 19335. Mark J Hummel Funeral Home, Reading has charge of arrangements.
