She was born in Grand Mere, Quebec, Canada, on April 13, 1915, a daughter of Hector and Olivine Mathieu Huard, and was educated at Notre Dame School in Springvale.
Mrs. Dominy had been a resident of Sanford and Springvale for more than 60 years and had been employed by Jagger Bros. of Springvale for 18 years, retiring in 1960.
A communicant of St. Ignatius Church, she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Mrs. Dominy was much loved by her family and friends, her daughters say.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Dominy, in 1960 and a daughter, Jenny Paradis, in 1992.
Survivors include three daughters, Sally McKay of Kennebunk and Nancy and Pat, both of Sanford; a sister, Jeannette (Mrs. Omer) Dumont of Sanford; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
