"Mrs. Eva Elmira Sherman, 77, died early this morning at the family home in Wayland following a short illness. She was a charter member of the Evangelical Church of Wayland.
She is survived by four children, David Bates, of Wayland, Mrs. George Hutchinson of Bath, Miss Jennie Sherman of Wayland and Rev. F. D. Sherman of York, Pa., and one brother, Clark T. Briggs of Naples.
Funeral services will be held from the family home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Arthur Whitehead will officiate. Burial in Wayland Cemetery."
