DARLINGTON - Margaret Stokes Abbott, age 92, of Bethea Baptist Home, died Sunday, December30, 2012. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2 in Grove Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, Wednesday at 1:00 pm, one hour prior to the service.

Born in Darlington County, daughter of the late Frank and Della Collins Stokes, Mrs. Abbott was married to the late Grady Wilburn Abbott. She was a retired bookkeeper with Darlington Fuel Company and member of Central Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Frankie Abbott of Darlington; her grandson, Sean Adams also of Darlington and her brother, Bobby (Patsy) Stokes of Hartsville.

The family would like to thank the staff and community for all the love and support shown to Mrs. Abbott and her family during her stay at Bethea Baptist Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL , 60611.
