Charles Skinner, aged 46 years, died at his home in this city Sunday morning at 1:15 a. m., after a long illness from Bright's disease. Mr. Skinner was an honest and hard working man. Years of disease had prevented him from caring for his family as he would have liked to do. He had the will but not the strength. He leaves besides a wife, eight children--John, Edward, Mrs. Thos. Sharon and Mrs. Henry Jenkins of Akeley, Louis, Elmer, Laura, and a little boy. The funeral took place from the Baptist church Christmas afternoon, and the remains were interred in Oakland.
