Connie Buxbaum, 71 of Bayard, passed away Aug. 27, 2014 at St. Luke’s/Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, Colo.Her funeral service will be held on Sept. 3, 2014 at the Community Bible Church in Bayard. Interment will follow at Bayard Cemetery. Connie was born on July 5, 1943 in Dalton to August and Viola (Burke)Kurth. She married to Robert"Bob"Eugene Buxbaum on August 7, 1960 in Dalton.Connie enjoyed collecting chimes, bird houses, lighthouses and dolls. Her favorite color was purple and flower was a daisy. She could brighten up your day with her smile. Connie was a very loving person and will be missed by her family and friends.Connie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Pearl Leighty and brother Arvin Kurth.
