The Clarion Democrat - Thursday, October 12, 1911
With profound sorrow, we announce the death of Leona May Trainer, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trainer, of South Second Avenue, which occurred last Thursday evening, October 5, 1911, after an illness of less than nine days, at the age of 1 year, 8 months and 8 days. There is some uncertainty about the disease which carried off this little daughter, but it was the same that claimed a little son just three months before, and seems to be incurable. It bears a resemblance to spinal meningitis. The funeral of the little girl was held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. Frank S. Neigh conducted the services and interment was made in Clarion Cemetery. Great sympathy goes out to the bereaved parents. Mr. and Mrs. Trainer desire to return their heartfelt thanks to those kind neighbors and friends who so generously ministered to them in their sorrow.
