06/19/07-- Eudene McDonald Morris, age 91 of 220 Jess Lane, Higgston, died Monday, June 18, 2007 in the Treutlen County Nursing Home In Soperton after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Montgomery County, retired from Oxford Manufacturing with more than thirty five years of service, and was an active member of the Higgston Baptist Church.
She was preceded In death by her husband, Jess Morris in 1988 and a son, Kendall D. Morris in 1999.
Mrs. Morris is survived by two sons, Robert "Buster" (Jean) Morris and Harold (Keller) Morris all of Higgston, one sister, Grace Morris of Higgston; six grandchildren, Cathy Braddy of Kibbee; Mike Morris of Higgston; Paula Moxley of Higgston; Melanie McLemore of Vidalia; Jesslyn Johnson of Higgston and Jason Morris of Mississippi, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eudene McDonald Morris will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 1:00 am in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Jones and Reverend Fred Swann officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening From 7:00 until 9:00. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
