Caleb Kendall was born in 1797, and experienced religion when about twelve years of age. In 1820 he was admitted on trial as a traveling preacher, and continued to labour until his health began to decline, when he obtained a superannuated relation. During the long period of his sufferings, he manifested much Christian patience, and a cheerful resignation to the divine dispensation. He died in Centreville, Allegany county, New York, on the 15th of November, 1833, leaving a satisfactory evidence to his friends that he departed in peace. Brother Kendall was a man of decided piety, and a plain, practical preacher. He has left a widow and three children.
