On Thursday, November 13th, Mrs. Addie Dice passed away. She had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Dice was born at Moseley Hall, Madison County, Florida, on February 15, 1870. She spent the greater portion of her life in Taylor County but had made her home in Aucilla for the last twenty-three years.
On January 18, 1891 Miss Addie Devane was united in marriage to Ferdinand W. Young who departed this life five years later leaving her with three children, two of whom passed away many years ago. On November 22, 1900 she was married to Thomas H. Dice who passed from this life December 26, 1918. To this union were born six children, one dying in infancy. She was laid to rest in Pisgah Cemetery five miles west of Perry. Left to mourn her loss are her six children and three older children of her late husband: Quincy Young, of Perry; Mrs. J. L. Bishop; Mrs. W. S. Horne and Hunter Dice, both of Aucilla, Mrs. E. G. Boland, of Drifton, C. F. Dice, of Monticello; Wiley W. Dice, of Madison; George W. Dice, of Boyd; Mrs. R. H. Devane, of Monticello, and a number of grandchildren. - Madison Enterprise
