Their tombstone was obviously miscarved with death dates a year off for both of them based on their obituaries and death records in Medina County.

Obituary from Medina County Gazette, Thursday, March 24, 1892, pg. 5:

"Orson Stone, one of the aged and highly respected pioneers of Medina County, died at his home near York on Monday evening of this week. He was 82 years of age."

Discovered in Grandma Nellie Stone's files, copy of an article from the Medina Gazette, February 12, 1892, pg. 2 about one month before Orson's death. Column entitled Pioneer Folks. "The Notable Band of Men and Women of Medina County Whose Early Struggles Brought Success and Prosperity. Honored and Respected In Their Old Age. Orson Stone, of York township, is one of the successful farmers of Medina county, who has had no inconsiderable share in the thrift and general development of the County. Though he is several years above eighty now, he still shows an unusual degree of interest in the every day affairs of life, still works like a man of fifty and devotes most of his time looking after the duties that pertain to the successful administration of his farm. And there is perhaps no man in Medina county, who for one of his years, performs the same amount of farm labor. From early boyhood up, his life has been one of ceaseless toil and strict attention to his own home life and to attain that success and competence that would bring him the honor and respect of his neighbors. And he has won this to a notable and enviable degree, and he can now, when his useful days are drawing to a close, look back with pride and satisfaction upon a life of industry and earnest and ceaseless labor.
"Orson Stone was born in Lebanon, Madison county, N.Y., August 8th, 1809. When six years of age he removed with his parents to Monroe county, and in the spring of 1832, when just approaching manhood, he emigrated to Ohio and took up some land about one mile south of York center, in Medina county, and this has been his home ever since. He at first purchased one hundred acres, but in later years added several pieces more, so that his farm comprises about 180 acres now. In 1841 he was married to Azinas Kimber, who was living at that time with her parents in York township, and she, with the four children that were the issue of this union, are still living to enjoy the reward and pleasures of a busy and industrious life. Of the four children of this happy and venerable couple Levi is living on the home farm with the aged parents, William A. lives near the center of York, while one of the sons is living in Kansas, and the other in Wisconsin. Mr. Stone helped to clear the timber off a large part of the land on which the village of Medina is located." A note on the copy indicates that Levi's son, Homer R. Stone said there were only 3 sons which is what I have noted from the census and other records.
