Billie Jean left behind four children; Ricky Baldwin and wife Nancy, Teenie McGregor and husband, Frank, Debbie Baldwin and Jamie Baldwin all of Pamplin; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and her brother, Jackie Letterman of Brookneal.
Billie Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Ernest C. Baldwin; parents, Enos and Nellie Letterman; brothers, Willis Letterman, Bill Letterman, E.J. Letterman, Bobby Letterman, Hubert Letterman and Herbert Letterman; sisters, Louise Fingar, Katherine Elder and Thelma Mann.
Billie Jean was loved dearly by her family, friends and co-workers. She was the glue that held her family together and her loss leaves a hole that can never be filled. She was smart, loving, generous, kind and thoughtful. She would have gladly given her life for her children and her grandchildren, and they are heartbroken to have seen it taken from her. This beautiful woman will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew her.
She was a member of Elon Baptist Church and retired employee of Courtland Manufacturing and Amelia Dress Company.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 1, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Elon Baptist Church officiated by Dr. David Sexton. Burial will follow in Pamplin Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday August 31 at the funeral home from 3-5:00 P.M and other time at the residence.
