I would recommend that this memorial NOT be linked to Johannes Housel, as it is more probable that the William Housel who died in 1829 in Chillisquaque, Northumberland, PA is the son of Johannes. (We KNOW that Peter who was born in 1736 and is the son of Johannes, was living in Northumberland, Pennsylvania from the 1790 census until just after the 1810 Census, when he moved on to Stark Co, Ohio. The William Housel who lived in Northumberland PA and who was born in 1738, took up residence there by the 1800 Census. Logically, both of the sons of Johannes would be closer in age than the ten years that separate Peter from the Reverend William Housel who was born in 1726). Source; Findagrave contributor # 47277372
