John, a farmer, married Susan C. Leonard in in Salem, Dent Co, AR on Jan. 29, 1854.

In July 1870,
John & Susan C. Hubbs, ages 45 & 33, lived in Wood Richland, Texas Co, MO. Post office - Houston. Their children were Francis M., age 15; Delina A., 13; Mary C., 10; James L., 6; John H., 4; & Olive J., 8 months.

They were living in AR when Susan gave birth to Margaret on February 17, 1872

On June 18, 1880,
Margaret, age 8, lived in Richland, Ozark Co, MO with her parents, John & Susan Hubbs, ages 56 & 40. Her siblings were James, age 15; John, 14; Ollie, 11; & Robert, 4. Her father supported the family by farming.

Margaret was 17 years old when she married William Franklin Bell, 27, in Ozark Co, MO on August 17, 1889.

They were Landis, age 19; Ida A., 17; Myrtle, 15; Manual, 12; Julie, 10; Billy (male), 7; Floy (daughter), 4; & Emma, 2.

Floy & Emma were born in OK.

On January 3, 1920,
William F. & Margret J. Bell, ages 56 & 47, owned their farm in Poteau, which was located on Tarby & Shady Pt. Road. Children living with them were Billie, age 17; Floy, 14; Evna (Emma), 11; & John H., 9.

On April 8, 1930,
Will F. & Margarit, ages 67 & 56, were still living on their farm in Poteau where he farmed to support them. None of their children were at home. The record indicated that William had not served in the military.

Margaret died in Poteau on March 19, 1937.
