Ms. Christine E. Biggs, 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her daughter’s home. Ms. Christine was born in Palatka, FL to the late Cranston & Lessie Hankins. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Smiley and Nancy Grantham, and two brothers, Tommy Hankins and Parnell Hankins. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from M&M/Kroger as a baker/cake decorator. Survivors include her children, Michael “Mickey” & Sandy Stevens of Pooler, Deborah & R.L. Harrison of Ludowici, and Mark & Debra Biggs of Guyton; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean & Bill Fisher of Jacksonville, and Nita & Kenneth Alls of Savannah, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral: 1 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
